I injured my shoulder in August, and although nothing was broken, I had substantial soft tissue damage and limited mobility in my right arm. I saw a Groupon for three treatments and decided to give acupuncture a try. My first treatment was in mid-October, and I have experienced remarkable improvement, in addition to less soreness in the morning. I also decided to try the weight loss tonic. I have lost about 8 pounds in a six week period, but the best change is the difference in my energy level and general well being. Joon is a knowledgeable practitioner whose approach is to treat the whole person, as opposed to simply one area of the body. I am very pleased with both the tonic and the acupuncture treatments and would recommend them to anyone who is open to alternatives in heath care.

When I first came into lifeline acupuncture, I was a little hesitant. My shoulder had been bothering me for years, but my fear of needles (any kind of needle...even teenie tiny ones) had kept me far away from acupuncture. However, after seeing a chiropractor, orthopedic doctor, and 2 different physical therapists, I decided it was time to give acupuncture a try. I’d heard of the wonders of acupuncture from friends and colleagues so I pushed my fears aside and scheduled an appointment with Joon. And I’m so glad I did! During my first session, I was full of nerves, but Joon talked me through everything and made me feel so comfortable. He also used a limited number of needles in that first session in order to ease me in and came back to check on me several times. After my first session, I was easily able to make a follow-up appointment and now, about 3 weeks into treatment, I can fall asleep during an acupuncture session. My shoulder feel 90% better now!!

I visited Dr. Lee when I was suffering from an ankle injury from soccer that I was playing at my high school. I’ve been seeing Dr. Lee for about a year since he was working at the Sacramento Clinic. I originally saw Dr. Lee for my acid reflux disease symptoms but now he is practically my primary care doctor. At first, I was skeptical of acupuncture and herbal treatment but I thought it would be better than having to take over-the-counter pills suggested by my primary care doctor. Unlike the cheap pills the herbs calmed my easily heated abdominal area and it even helped me lose some weight or maybe the combination of acupuncture and herbs helped my metabolism. Anyway, the bottom line is that there is no harm in trying because you get to at least lie down and melt away some stress …I often fall asleep until its time for the acupuncture needles to come out.

I had a severe auto accident on 9/12/2013. Several my rib cages were broken up and few other knee bones as well. I had PT rehab and home care for about 5 months. I was on the pain medicine by the end of the year and progress was very slow so I have decided to listen to my friends who suggest me to see an acupuncturist.Before the first appointment, I was scared about needle of any kind and was not sure and aware of the acupuncture treatments.
